Ruth Levin is one of the leading Israeli interpreters
of the Yiddish song. A great part of her repertoire is
chamber music written by her father, Leibu Levin,
a well-known Czernowitz born Yiddish actor, singer
and composer.
Ruth is also a translator of Yiddish and Hebrew literature.
She is the editor of programs on Yiddish music and poetry
at the Paris Radio Yiddish Pour Tous.
